Yeah, I'm just now seeing other people's not-so-impressed reactions to the ep. I can see why people have big problems with it, and I agree it did have a lot of faults, but I still loved it. As much as I hated Gabriel dying, I still loved the ep.
And I almost wonder if killing off all these other characters gives us a better chance of keeping Cas for next season. Like, they've killed off so many to make this all hurt a lot, so that means they don't feel they have to kill off Cas to hurt us. Eh, I'm not making sense--between almost no sleep last night, my allergies, hormones, and a busy work day--my brain is already completely fried. :P

I tell myself that. I tell myself everything to try and convince myself and I was so perky there for awhile. But now I'm so worried.

I just have to send that out in the atmosphere sometimes even though I know the episode is already filmed.
I liked that Gabriel got a good send off in that he got to be snarky at the Winchesters, soulful and angsty with Lucifer, sex up goddesses and random porn chicks and make the right decision. I did love that.
I am also glad they hadn't written Cas in for the last five mintues. Even though I love him, he wasn't needed and I think it'd cheapen Gabriel's death.
