I'm impressed with all your exercising 'n' stuff. You've got waaaaay more endurance than I do. I did download the first week of a Couch to 5k podcast, though. 2 weeks ago. ;)
I literally just emailed with your former roommate, you know, the one that knows how to make fried plantains so well. ;) She has a 6-month-old baby girl!
The first time I started trying couch25k was when I was still in Berkeley, so like January of 2005. It took me until Sept 2007 to actually do a 5k race. It's probably the same sort of low-key persistence personality trait that led to me owning multiple copies of Foucault's Pendulum -- surely I'll finish reading it some day.
Car wise, I have a 2008 Civic Hybrid. I'll have pictures of it in the big snow to post at some point.
