I still find it increasingly amusing when I say girlfriend (on the A/N's of some of my fanfics) most people end up thinking I'm a boy.

I mean what? *laughs*

(though it did tell me I probably do need to get working on some of my fanfics again. Yeah. The ones I pushed onto the backburner. Ahahaha....ha) *headdesk*

yeah I just got a review in my inbox saying sorry for thinking I was a girl XD (and I had a PM not too long ago that referred to me as a he *which is even more ridiculous considering usually when you PM someone, you have to go to the actual profile page to do it* and I've had a few PMs also say it--but most were from a while ago) *has had a few emails too, but*

Well I've seen Mandy used as a boy name just as much as a girl name XD *and I don't usually put my full name up* or else then yeah they'd definitely not have an excuse for getting my gender wrong unless they didn't read XD

(But I have trouble believing that people who think that someone with a girlfriend must be male would believe that a boy would ever write yaoi...Maybe he writes it for his girlfriend?)

(well I know of a straight guy who writes yaoi XD it's not very common but it is out there)

Like--seriously, people? And especially considering you write yaoi--which means they are reading it. Which, in turn, means they'd be idiots to assume that because you have a girlfriend, you can't be a girl yourself.
It reminds me of this guy I went to highschool with--who had the mentality of "It's okay for girls to be gay, but not guys."--only...reversed. <.<;;;

Well XD as said in above comments --you don't have to be a girl to write yaoi *shakes head* (I know a straight guy IRL that wrote (writes?) it. And he isn't dating anyone XD *hasn't talked to him in a while though*) so yeah ...I mean they could have thought 'oh he's writing it for his girlfriend' --but I already gave enough hints stating otherwise and that's what makes it so funny XD

down here it's more--gays (male x male relationships) are the worst, and yet they're the ones that get all the attention, so lesbians basically get kicked to the backburner XD
