Directing Intention

A concept introduced to me at EFT a few weeks ago was that intention is like a genie in a bottle. Whatever you desire, the genie goes and serves it to you. The thing you have to understand about magick though, is that when you put your mind towards what you intend upon, you have to be really damn specific, because the genie doesn't discern the better of your wishes. The genie, rather, achieves the goal with the littlest effort possible.

With this concept in mind, I have placed more value on my intentions, and attempted to show more care for the things that I value. I've decided that a very basic principal I must always enforce in my actions is to show care.
My principal, to show care, is necessary to my health and in showing my appreciation and respect for the world around me and the life that I live. It's as simple as keeping my room tidy, my plants pruned and thriving, and my body clean. Showing care is taking the time to put spices in food, fixing broken objects, responding to emails and phone calls no matter how despondent and wrapped up in other things I am...
Showing care shows ease and leisure, appreciation and interest, competence and mindfulness.

I've seen a few of my friends have been talking about similar things in their journals lately, and wanted to point out how it seems almost very often that I find syncronistic moments where observations I've made match the observations of my tribe.
This human race just keeps learning.
