And confusing. The pokémon-- it's called a Sneasel. [Ys glances off screen and continues, tone slightly perplexed:] It has claws. And feathers.

Worse places? [His face flickers blank for a moment, but then, a smile.] I suppose there are. At least here there are pokémon; I've never seen anything like them before. Mine has feathers on its head.

I've grown quite fond of my Pokémon, he's this little round pink thing with pointy ears.

He sounds nice. [Pause as he glances down at his Sneasel.] Pokémon are all so different; they don't look like they could have evolved like animals where I came from. Their powers are neat, too. Like magic!
