The Doodimus and I like to hang out in front of the toaster in the morning, waiting for his waffle to cook.  We usually make some sort of big deal when if finally pops out and startles us.

Today we were standing there as usual and Doodimus said, "Mommy."

I looked at him expectantly.  He was looking back at me with a very somber expression.  "Ah
