Ok all, time for yet another fun-filled update. I caved. Yup, that's right - I decided to start an additional lace project (which I swore up & down I wouldn't do until I finished the infamous Blue Shawl) but I couldn't help it. The seasilk was taunting me. In any event, I am now about 1/4 of the way through Branching Out. It's turning out so

Yay, sock knitting. I plan of trying my hand at it soon as well. My wonderful pal gave me fabulous yarn that I can't wait to use, and a great pair of needles as well. Must be good though, and finish the projects I'm working on now.

Yes! I sent out the never-ending scarf yesterday! I have some extra so I may make the same scarf for my mom (don't tell her). Oh, I don't think anyone has taken something out so many times as my mom takes out her hell flap on socks. Something always goes wrong like lose a stitch or forget to slip or something. I suggest 2 circs for socks. I can't copy the pattern, but I can teach you! My mom will have her socks at the retreat.

i meant heel flap not hell flap. although that's how my mom feels about it! haha
