Strange little boy.

I think we're going to move from half-hour naps to hour long naps... at SAM's request. :) He almost never sleeps, just plays in his room while I sleep, so it's more for me than him, though maybe it at least gives him unpestered relaxation time. So today I was about to set his timer, and he asked for an hour. I made sure he knew that was longer ( Read more... )

So exciting! If it's any consolation, when Raven popped out, she was functionally her calculated age, not her age by ovulation, which would have been about a week later.
That's AWESOME about naptime. I really look forward to actual naps as opposed to cat-naps. :-D Lame about missing KG. We need a KG munchkinland. :(

*nods* Seth was also born a week before his LMP due date, and he didn't seem early at all. I didn't calculate ovulation then, since I'd just come off birth control and didn't know how anyway... But if it was a normal cycle for me ovulation would have put the due date a week later. *shrug*

We'll see if the nap thing lasts. :) What he says one day is not always so the next.

Yeah, we really need to kidnap some people and force them to run another Junior LARP camp, or set up some sort of parental co-op, SOMETHING! :)

Agreed! I just found out about the no-babies rule. I don't really feel cool leaving her for, um... a year or two, so this is lame :(

Yeah, it makes it really difficult to play at all sometimes. :( However, when Seth was a baby, the policy was not no-babies, it was "no babies anywhere that's visible from an in-play area". :P We kept SAM in Monstertown with my mom watching him a few times. It was more convenient than having to leave site entirely every time he might have been hungry. Of course, most people don't have my mom to come out every event weekend to babysit. Anyway, you probably want to find out the current policy - but it's not a Plot call, it's the owners who decide that.

Seriously, though, some kind of co-op! I know there have got to be other parents who need this, and it would be better for each of us to get to play part of the event than for some of us to miss it entirely. :)

Well, we've been missing the Chinua! But very glad to hear things are going well for you this go-round.

:D

Yup, it's sad to miss so many events in a row when stuff seems to be happening. :)

But yes, I'm glad too.
