Sorry, old SI joke that never made much sense. :) I borrowed The Thinking Woman's Guide for a Better Birth from the midwife yesterday. I figured so many people kept recommending it, I ought to actually read it sometime, for the sake of being fully educated. :) It seems very research-based so far, I like that. It's sad, though... It's... "Are you a Goer? Do you Go?" :) You have to say it with a bad Cockney accent and a leer. Helps if you're a goblin.

Neat for your friend, I wonder if I know her online. :) My midwife is Lisa Coomer, she has a website. There are several others in the area - I can give your friend some links if she needs them.
