Fourteen weeks after the death of Jacen Solo
"Can't you turn this music down?" Jaina sighed as she moved to sit at the table with her mother. Leia pointed to the ear plugs she had cleverly worn.
"I got the last pair." The older woman said smugly.
"What...are they doing down there?"
"Fixing the ship," Leia said loudly over the music. "The music helps. I don't know."
"Don't touch that." Han pointed to an exposed wire as he rubbed a hand over his nose, leaving a grease mark, making Allana giggle. "What?"
He poked her on the nose, leaving a mark on her as well, bringing forth more giggles.
"I like it when you laugh, Princess." He whispered, kissing her head and picking her up. "You wanna crawl in this cramped spot and pull out the red wires and not tell your grandmother?"
Allana nodded her head, enthusiastically, brown locks bobbing around her chin. "Yes yes!"
"'kay, Princess." Han set her into the little cubby and pointed. "All the red ones. Nothin' else, 'kay?"
"'kay!" Allana tugged at the wires, ripping them out of their places in the ship. "Don't we need these, Gwandpa?"
"Noff weally, Pfrewncethf, whirrgoan wepwathe them."
Allana stuck her head out the cubby and raised her eyebrows. "Say what?"
Han spit the hydrospanner out of his mouth and laughed, dancing to the loud music from above them for a moment. "Not really, Princess, we're gonna replace them."
"Oh." Allana giggled. "You're silly."
"So's your mom."
Allana shook her head. "No, not really."
"Yeah, not really." Han snorted. "Stupid joke, anyway. Get back to work so we can make Grandmama feed us, yeah?"
"Yeah!" She beamed and went back to work.
