Twelve weeks after Jacen Solo's death.
Tenel Ka carried Allana back to the Millenium Falcon, under the shroud of night, keeping her daughter close. Gadell carried their bags, while Han and Leia trailed behind, watching their granddaughter spend a few final moments with her mother.
The Queen Mother set the five year old down, kissing her forehead. "I have something for you." She gestured to Gadell and he handed her a small, stuffed Ewok. "In absence of Jacen, not to replace. Understand?"
"Yes, Mama." Allana murmured, accepting the stuffed animal, clutching it under her arm.
"And what will you name this one?" Tenel Ka whispered, her fingers stroking Allana's cheek.
She stared down at the Ewok, thinking of the small bear named Sarah on her ship. She thought about other people she never saw but didn't want to forget. Calling it "mama" or "Tenel Ka" would be too final, she felt. She didn't want to do that. That might mean she may never see her again. "I'm not sure yet."
Tenel Ka smiled. "An excuse for you to call me, then, when you have it figured out."
Leia stepped up, stroking Allana's head. "She doesn't need an excuse. It was good seeing you, your Highness."
They hugged, over Allana's head, before Han moved forward and kissed her mother's cheek. Tenel Ka bent down, kissed her one more time and tweaked her nose. "Be good for them."
"She always is." Han drawled.
Gadell tweaked her ear and moved to stand behind the Queen as Allana and her grandparents went up the ramp.
---And then she was back in Milliways.
