I was the same way with A&E's version, Flight 93, so I know I will be like that when I go see United 93. Movies like these will want to make one take boxes of tissues with them, eh?
It's "make sure you don't flood the whole damn theater" kind of thing.
I didn't watch the A&E one, don't remember why.
This one's a hell of a lot more intense and half the time I was crying, the other half wanting to scream "you fucking idiots" at the government's "nah, not a take over, just a radio error" response half the movie while that one poor guy was telling them.
The ending scene WILL haunt you for a long while, it sure as hell haunted/still haunts me.
I want to see that movie so bad. But my dad (as usual) is all, why would you want to see that?
Maybe you would like a book I have. It's about a girl getting over the whole 9/11 thing. I have the secodn and first one, but I like the second more. You might like um...I donno.
You know something cool? When I went to NY I saw where the trade centers were, and everything gone. But there was one peice of building still there, and it was in the shape of a cross...
If your dad wants someone to go with you who's seen it, let him know I will.
I know I'll cry again but, I want to see it again so that I can see if I can figure something out, can't really explain it but... yeah.
They did make a cross out of some of the pieces that weren't... y'know, bloodied or charred completely from the Trade Centers.
One day I'll go there and pay my respects to the people killed.
It's a really emotional movie, be really certain that you feel you can watch the entite thing through, it's really intense. I almost left the theater about 4 different times because I was getting so overwhelmed.
