There is just so much I liked:
Harry's amusement over having his last moments be comfortable and with someone he cared for. Rather like Doc Holliday being surprised to find himself dying with his boots off. :-)
Harry wanting to heal Bob---so like him. Bob stopping it, knowing it was futile.
Harry being willing to wait---so damn sweet, so like him. Bob's genuine sorrow and regret that he wouldn't be able to make that appointment, believing himself still cursed.
Murphy finding them. Lord. So utterly poignant that.
Harry finding a way to free Bob. That was outstanding for the understated simplicity---the utter 'it just is' moment. Lessened my sorrow knowing Harry found a away. Bless you.
Harry's letter to Murphy. So utterly like him. Her silent tears spoke so elequently of her loss.
Loved this. Just thought you should know.

Your premise is so realistic-- i think, so much more than a perfectly executed (incredibly difficult!) spell with another man's focus after nearly a millennium's imprisonment (with no practice, no preparation, no circle, no... )--*smiles* but it's so terrible to think about. that something could have gone wrong. of course, television wouldn't dare. i'm glad you did-- and that Harry found a way through for Bob, from the Other Side-- that he could do that. That was everything, really.
Beautifully done.
