Evan has been doing really well with the potty today and it makes me happpyyy! He peed in his underwear once, BUT he realized it and finished it in the potty! PROGRESS! He hasn't gone poop yet, so I'm nervous... He keeps farting, and I'm worried that at any moment he's going to poop on my furniture. haha ( Read more... )

it wasn't sister frye. haha i really don't think she meant to make me feel bad. i think she was trying to say that i was a good mom... it just came out weird.

Mother's Day is the worst day of the year for me.

On one hand, (like you said) I have to hear about how everyone else's mother is so great and how their Moms loved them so much. Mine wasn't even close and didn't love me so much. And it gets tiring being reminded.

On the other hand, I can take joy in being a mother myself... oh wait. No I can't.

..... I hate this day.

lol - Mother's Day has always been my mom's least favorite day of the year. And it's not because she didn't have a great mom, because she did. I don't really know why she hates it so much - I think she just hates all the attention. Anyway, she says she's depressed for a week before and a week after almost every year. She cracks me up.
