I've been trying to keep on top of all the dangerous goings on on Earth,   There's really quite a lot to keep up with in that regard.  Earth always seems to find a way to stay right smack in the middle of danger.  It's funny that way.  I always thought alien threats took Sundays off.  I guess because I used to take Sundays off, but really they don' ( Read more... )

Well, I think that all depends on what you mean by plead the fifth. I'm assuming you want to avoid incriminating yourself, so that would be somewhere around 18th to 23rd century American Earth.

Plain insane? Isn't that a bit extreme? Eccentric, yes, but insane?

Besides, having a very likely theory doesn't make someone insane. Even you have to admit we've seen things occur that are much less plausible than possibly dangerous felines.

I'm merely posing a hypothesis. Every perfectly logical scientific fact is born out of a hypothesis of one kind or another.

You know though, I think you're absolutely right. Creatures have never been pushed to evolve and change temperament in a way that doesn't correlate with their own time period because of outside forces. That has never happened.
