I think that I would fill them in, at least the outline. I'd probably do black and leave the center of each star plain for the time being. You never know, you may want to go back sometime and have them filled in with some nifty design or something.

I'm torn. The original plan was to have them be black outlines... but he didn't have time to do it, so we made another appt in a week. But... I kind of like them without the black part filled in.

Hey...I hope it's okay with you that I'm on your site. I found you through Joel's live journal.
Anyway, I LOVE the stars the way they are,
and it's easier to fill in the outline later than get it removed/lightened if you end up not liking it.
