spent most of the day being annoyed with the Irene bodice >.<, it's just being annoying to fit, which is a bit of a puzzle, since the final mock-up fit fine, and the only changes from the final mock-up to the version in real fabric is 1/2" added to the center back and slight reshaping of the bottom edge ( Read more... )

Got the bodice for the Irene dress cut out and partially assembled today, made the obnoxious and fiddly 5/8" box pleat trim for the collar only to find I made it too short >.< it'll work for one of the sleeves, so it's not a total ( Read more... )

So I found an awesome, cheap navy damask for the coat for the Irene Adler dress, so I ordered up 5 yards and was quite excited, only to now get an e-mail from the site saying "Lol, we only have 1.5yd left and can't get more" >.< The site has other navy damasks, but they are all significantly more than $8/yd ( Read more... )
