Those attempts to look less monochrome were successful! I like how you combined the pale yellow cardigan with the grey top. It's something that I would NEVER be able to pull off (yellow's just not my color) and yet you look classy in it.

As for the one with the red cardigan... actually that looks cute, too. The likeness to Santa's getup cracks me up, though! I wouldn't have seen it that way but since you mentioned it... XD

I love the coat. I despair living in a tropical country with only 2 seasons. I WANT TO WEAR A COAT!

thanks! at least i know i don't look too ridiculous. XD i actually think yellow isn't my colour either, but when i saw that cardigan i thought it was so cute! i quite like that outfit actually, it isn't TOO bright, but not too dark either. :)

haha it's only after i uploaded this picture onto soompi that i realized i looked like santa. maaan. oh well at least i can laugh about it. ;)

aww i have a love-hate relationship with winter. :( i love coats and all, but i much prefer fall and spring. because i love wearing skirts, tights, and leggings. with occasional snowstorms and -30 degrees celsius weather, it's not always possible!! i'm trying to wear them as much as possible before the snow ACTUALLY falls. XD trust me you wouldn't like the snowstorms - they're scaryyy.

Can I just ask: what brand is the red cardigan? I want that kind of cardigan for myself.

Oh, yeah, I do know the possible hazards of living in a country with four seasons. Sometimes, when it snows, it SNOWS. I was on a four-day holiday in Vienna, Austria, last year and it snowed heavily on the third and fourth day I was there. It was uncomfortable... but the strange thing was, I relished the experience. Maybe because I was only there for four days, but I just liked the idea of experiencing cold weather and snow. Maybe if I live there when it's snowing heavily I would've ended up hating it and wanting to move somewhere nice and warm. ^^;;

But, you know what, I do love spring and fall as well. Particularly fall. It's cold enough to be able to wear those stylish coats (and spring/fall fashions are always so pretty), but not so freezing that I can't wear my skirts! ♥ This is exactly the reason why I always prefer going to Europe during the fall season. *snickers*

which one exactly? the one in my halloween outfit or the longer, santa claus-like one? the first one is from mango, got it on clearance. the second one i got off zipia.net like last summer. >_<; i'm sure you can find similar cardigans locally though! :D

oh for sure, i think snow is something you HAVE to live one day or another, but you'll hate it when you have to shovel your pathways and have to find your car under tons and tons of white stuff haha. kinda makes you want to live in a big apartment building instead of a house, and use the transit instead of getting a car. ^^;

i loooooove spring and fall. <3 you're absolutely right, the clothing is amazing AND you can wear pretty much anything without being too cold or too hot. :D love it love it! can't wait for spring already hahaha.

Wait. So I scrolled back up to look at the cupcakes but the one that caught my attention was: What? Your contract was terminated? :o

Aww, man, that sucks. I hope you'll get another job soon. *hugs*

yeah for a strange reason too, but it was my fault so i can't say much. :( i loved my job, but what i'll miss most are my coworkers. they were super! i've gotten over the sadness however (which is why i'm able to talk about it so nonchalantly, it seems ^^;) and look towards the future. i only had two jobs before so this is a chance for me to explore other things. :)

thank youu! i hope so too. ^^; *hugs back*

Your coordinates are lovely - all of them look so polished ^o^
I need to start doing outfit photos more often again ;;;

And that winter jacket is so fab.

Also, I'm so sorry about your job ;_; I'm so scared to lose my job after being reprimanded this past week, especially with the American economy being in its current state ;;; I wish you the best of luck finding a new job, dear.

Good luck with getting another job, hanako! I'm sorry that happened, whatever it was, but you must move on positively instead of letting it get you down. (I got in my first car crash today, and that's what my dad said to me...albeit in a more Chinese way).

Those cupcakes do look delicious; makes me miss when I used to bake cupcakes with my sister every winter! And I really love your bag purchase--and I think that coat is amazing! Great finds. :)

i will! thanks haha. i'm actually considering as a way to explore other things... i only had two jobs before so i don't have much experience (although i gained a lot from this previous one) so this will allow me see other things.

my love for baking is quite recent! i've only started making stuff this summer, and i'm still quite a beginner. baking during winter sounds so romantic, i think i'm gonna make more stuff during the holidays haha...

and thanks!
