It looks like I'm the first in ikel89's Secret Santa exchange to actually get to open my package, which has never happened before -- neat! :D

My gift from wintergreen126 arrived way sooner than I had expected -- in fact, before I'd even sent mine -- and it was full of cute and tasty things!

It all reached you in piece! Immediately after I handed it to the postal worker, I was thinking, "Moron, why didn't you use a BOX instead of an envelope?!" So I'm so happy to hear that my poor packing skills didn't ruin the fun.

And I'm also so happy that you like the package!! Yay! The card absolutely killed me, and I knew it was perfect as soon as I saw it. I had a blast shopping for you. I'm always happy to provide holiday cheer!

It was totally fine in the envelope! The bubblewrap kept the honey and the dragon secure, and everything else was fine on its own, I guess? So everything arrived safe and sound! :D

It WAS! :D I don't remember if my questionnaire mentioned it, but I get a particular kick out of beavers specifically, too -- they're sort of my husband's animal, dating back to a nickname he had in his country's version of boy scouts.

I can add at this point that I've tasted the honey by now also, and it's so good! I'm going to just, like, have some on bread with my tea tonight, because both the taste and the texture are just wonderful.

I'm glad to hear you had fun with the Santa-ing -- I am really enjoying the results :DDD

I'm glad to hear you agree about A Quiet Place. Until I watched it, mostly I heard about how cool and innovative the movie was -- and I'm sure it was, on a technical level! (and I do genuinely think it's awesome that they had a Deaf actress playing the daughter and her family advising the movie makers on that aspect). But I couldn't really enjoy it as a movie at all, because everyone was too stupid to live. (Lady, you don't have to carry your toddler over long distances, but maaaaaybe don't let him lag behind with your other children. I wouldn't do it in a modern shopping mall -- you should maybe not do it in monster-infested wilderness...)
