To make this to the point, my seven month old syrian, Chip, is a diabetic. His urine is high in ketones. He is very dehydrated and his urine is the consistency of pus. I force fed him water with pedialyte and his legs and arms twitched slightly, and now he is in a coma. I had a hamster before do this same thing, except I didnt know she had diabetes

i really think you should do your best to find a vet. a vet will only put an animal down with your consent and if they decide that there is nothing more that can be done for the animal and unfortunately even though we want to keep them with us forever, sometimes this is for the best. Please please try to get some medical care for him.
