Unconditional Love

My sweet hamster did the sweetest thing for me today.
Yesterday he was a little anti-social, not allowing pets and kisses,
but this afternoon he came down to the floor of his cage and sat up,
right as I happened to walk by.  I open his door, and scooped him up
in my hand, holding him close by my right shoulder.  He stayed there,
curled up in a warm

It takes awhile to warm up to a new pet. My sweet Simon sure took his time getting adjusted to his new digs and human contacts :) Your time will come, and it'll be well worth the wait :)
