Hammies!

I have a long haired male Syrian named Walter von Floofingham and I loves him so much. He's the floofiest calmest sweetest hamster. I used to work at a pet store and he was so sweet I couldn't let someone else take him home even though I wasn't looking to get a hamster at all.

I don't know what I'd do without hamsters now that I've had at least one at all times since March of 2006. As it is, I have three now (Penny, Gina, and Fry...all Syrians, 2 females, 1 male), and I want another (a male, so I have 2 and 2). And my brother keeps sending me pictures of his sable (named Butters), and seeing them makes me miss Champ so much.

Yay! Pet shops are great huh? I did a big shop in Pets At Home yesterday and despite having quite enough animals at the moment (4 hams and a chinchilla) I still get that 'OMG I have to have you' feeling when I look at the animals. I was pretty taken with the baby guinea pigs but the syrian hams are always the cutest. Good luck with picking a new friend!
