Good luck. Having had Robos multiple times, more than three never worked out and even sometimes two didn't work out. The cage should be larger than a 10gallon tank for two. Should house two wheels, two water bottles and two dishes. With three it should house three wheels, three food dishes and at least two water bottles. Not to mention three different locations for them to get away from. this allows them all their own personal space.
Hope the information helps. I used to rescue hamsters and have done a ton of research. These are all the recommendations and most come from my vet who specializes in small animals such as Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, etc....

As for the cage setup, right now we've got a CritterTrail 3 connected to 2 CritterTrail Minis, so there's a food dish, a water bottle, and a wheel for each. I've also got a nest ball, U-tube, and wooden house divided between the three rooms, so everyone's got a little place to cuddle up. Plus, if I need to separate them, I've already got cages set up, so it's just a matter of pulling the connecter tubes out and blocking off the holes with a bubble vent or cover.
