[So Maka missed recording the evolution of her Pidgey since it pretty much snuck up on her. THIS TIME she's ready though and caught the evolution of her Houndour into a Houndoom on the 'Gear. R-right, Professor, this is Kali, she's the Pokemon I started out with--a Houndoom. She used to be smaller as a Houndour, but--[waving at her to indicate the size change]--now she's almost as tall as I am, aha.

Kali? Your feminist overtones never cease. It looks sort of like a great dane. Maybe you could get around faster if you rode around on her back or something.
Though more importantly, why are you bothering to give it a name? They're just animals. Some less so than others. What's the point in getting attatched?

I gave her a name--when she was a Houndour, of course--because Pokemon have multiples of a given species. I thought it'd be confusing to just refer to her as "Houndour" when there are other Houndours around. It's kind of like just calling your dog "Dog" you see.
