I feel a little funny when people thank me for what I did, as I think so many people did so much more than I to work for this victory. And yet, part of the genius of Obama's campaign was the way he engaged people rich and poor, famous and obscure, of so many colors and creeds, mobilized us all, and gave us each a sense of investment in and ownership of his success. So...in a long-winded, roundabout, slightly abashed way: You're welcome. :)
You did things most of us weren't able to do, and you made a difference. That deserves thanks - and one heckuva celebration! And yes, the fact that Obama was able to inspire it says so much about him, his team, and about you!
And beyond all of that, your posts have helped me feel connected to the whole process despite being in Canada :D
You rock!
I believe that's my long-winded way of saying, "Pushaw!" :P
Heh. I didn't realize it was a fist bump, it looked maybe like Lincoln was angry, and maybe punching, and I was trying to see if the dude on the ladder was Bush. ;)

Obama was elected by a thousand spearheads that fought for him. And beneath those, a thousand spearheads that held those up. And more beneath them.
You are ours.
