A snippet in time from yesterday's inaugural activities. This is us disembarking at Capitol South Metro station to find a huge, but well-managed and good-natured, crowd. I've never been in a happier crush of humanity. :)

Had a great time at Arisia. Photos/videos and highlights (plus a few lowlights) to come. For now, though, we must sleep if we're going to get up at oh-fuck-thirty to head into DC in the morning. It's going to be insane, but I'm glad we're here.

I added more international papers to my gallery of saved front pages celebrating Obama's victory. Looking at it still makes me happy, which I especially need this week when I think about our budgetary situation at work. Look and enjoy. :-}
