I'm glad you're doing this, BUT ... should a church be involved? I think it risks their 501c3 non-profit status to host a partisan political activity.

I know there are serious issues to consider, but I have to assume that they've got it all worked out as necessary. The group I'm with today is a 501(c)4, which can be more flexible about these things. I think the church can host, as long as the church itself does not take a particular political stand, which it isn't.

I got to pet a really pretty and friendly greyhound today...it seemed very cheerful with nice weather and mellow attitudes...and petting a dog with fur like velvet
