Yay: This weekend jbsegal installed the 60GB hard drive I received for $WINTER_HOLIDAY two years ago into my poor, creaking Pismo laptop. Suddenly, I have 10x more hard drive! And he and Kiran helped me snag a new-to-me wooden table with four chairs. Thank you, JB and Kiran ( Read more... )

"Through no method that I can recall" is my I'm-getting-old catchphrase. I'm getting used to having the "'Why does that hurt?' / 'I have no idea.'" conversation with myself. And bruises I can't account for! My rule for bruises is I want to remember how I got them and I want it to have been fun, but these days I end up with a lot that fail both tests.

Anyway I hope you feel better soon. If it's any consolation I think we got something like 5-6" of that ice down here. I killed myself scraping it out of our parking space on Thursday. Ow.
