I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before or not, but I have a policy of not commenting on those posts people make that say "I'm doing a friend's clean-up, please comment if you'd like to stick around." I also tend not to respond to those posts people make that say "I'm changing journals, please comment if you'd like to be on the new one

i don't like having people on my friends list if i'm not on theirs.. sometimes i use my journal to reply to posts, like if i have a lot to say, and sometimes i just post personal messages.. it bugs me if the people they're intended for aren't going to be reading them..
i delete people that i don't like, people that don't like me, and people who don't comment. and it's rare that i'll follow you if you change journals..
and i'm high, and evidently sorta chatty.
someone should hop-on-msn.

Its good to know that someone agrees. I don't think our approach is unreasonable. I'm even willing to follow someone on a journal change as long as they don't make me ask in order to do so. Those kinds of posts demean us ALL.
