i love "you've been yammering at me like your 'off' button's broken". i like the twist at the end, too, altho maybe roswell should've clued me in....

Roswell is all fun and games until aliens take over your body... :O

Hi,(here from writerverse library). You've got a cunning twist here: The Alien who passed himself off as a (rather) dumb human, but he does the lingo fine so we're all taken in along with his 'pal' Mike.

Its a cute take on the body snatchers - unless Mike is about to get eaten or abducted, of course - but one does wonder what 'Jeremy' is planning to do next. And whether Mike even believes he's not just goofing around.

:D There's no way to know whether the alien has sinister intentions, or whether he's just messing with Mike because he can. Will he drag Mike off in a spaceship, now that he's had his fun? Or find another victim?

One of the Hitchhiker's Guide novels mentions teenaged aliens going to more primitive planets just to freak out the locals, and I can really see that happening. :D
