"Man, this is some desert. Where the hell are we?"

"About 20 minutes into the ass end of Nowhere from the last time you asked that question."

"What?"

"Nothing…"

"Hey, Mike, do you know what's funny?"

"Yes. Do you?"

"Huh?"

"Dude, ever since we left Roswell, you've been yammering at me like your 'off' button's broken. We've been driving for hours, and there are no signs of civilization anywhere. So, I'm not in the mood for jokes or questions. I just want to see Albuquerque again, is that too much to ask?"

"Heh. Maybe."

"Jesus, Jeremy, what's that supposed to mean?"

"It means, I think we've passed that cactus before. And those yellow flowers awhile back."

"Are you serious? How is that even possible? We're on a highway, and we haven't made any turns."

"They'll be come back again, you'll see. Just wait."

"And that's what you thought was funny?''

"No."

"Jeremy."

"The way you keep calling me 'Jeremy' is probably the funniest part of all."

"What? Why would you say that?"

"Heh. Ya-at-t'ay, Earthling…"
