or lying naked on the bed like a living centerfold.
What a beautiful image!!
Many people are no longer writing PB and few are reading it, which makes me feel a little miserable since my love for PB and the characters we adored still burns brightly. So I am extraordinarily grateful to still be finding your delicious stories. It's like a comfort blanket!
Thank you, darling.

It feels nice to get down inside this world every now and then, trying out different periods in the boys' lives and bringing them to life.
And thank goodness there are lovely people like you still interested in reading about it! :)

I'm glad you enjoyed this interlude. The longer story was a very rich canvas, in a timeframe I hadn't done much with before, and I really liked the mood that came of it. There's hope and romance, and a sense of things finally going right. Even though readers know that this is but a step along the trouble path the brothers follow, this part of the journey is so cozy and welcoming. :)

So glad you still have a bit of inspiration to write them.

I'd like to think they had at least some happy period in their lives, together, in between that childhood and where things wound up later.
Thanks for reading!

Season 3 was entertaining in a cracktastic way, but mostly just dumb. And I never did watch S4, and I'm so glad. I was afraid I'd never be able to write fanfic for the show again if I did, and they destroyed so much of their own canon.
This story goes back to all we'd hoped from Season One, that there was some foundation for the closeness between Michael and Lincoln, and that they must have had at least some period where things were good.
Even knowing how it all turns out by Season One, it's nice to dwell in the happiness between these two. :)

It's hard to think of how harshly canon treated Michael and Lincoln, both pre-series and then the horrors of S4 (which I didn't watch, thank goodness). They deserved better, at least for some point at their lives, and without it how do you explain Michael's willingness to sacrifice all that he did?
Writing the answer to that question, during different time periods and settings, never gets old for me!
Thanks so much for reading and commenting!
