Such a happy scenario, sweetheart. At last Michael has control over both of their lives and they have the freedom to shut the world outside and be together. And the burning need? Gorgeous!!

or lying naked on the bed like a living centerfold.

What a beautiful image!!

Many people are no longer writing PB and few are reading it, which makes me feel a little miserable since my love for PB and the characters we adored still burns brightly. So I am extraordinarily grateful to still be finding your delicious stories. It's like a comfort blanket!

Thank you, darling.
*hugs*

I'm so glad you enjoyed this, and that it helps fuel your ongoing M/L love. The fandom is SO dead in many respects, and I miss it-- all the S1 excitement of where things were going, and how they would make it out (or would they?), and the epic M/L story.

It feels nice to get down inside this world every now and then, trying out different periods in the boys' lives and bringing them to life.

And thank goodness there are lovely people like you still interested in reading about it! :)

To be frank, I feel overwhelmed you did find the time to do this with everything else you've got on your plate.[while I was patiently lurking in the shadows] And now I feel in awe of just how much you could pack into it.I love each and every alliteration and image you've used - I'll probably know the whole passage by heart by tonight -but most of all you've got me hooked on your pacing of the text. Really love it. Thank you so much.&hearts ♥ ♥

I'm sorry I've been so slow to get these done-- most were Sam/Dean, which is oddly UNinspiring since I write so many drabbles for SPN. But mostly, it's the lack of writing on weekends that's making this take longer than usual. One week later, and I've only finished two! Though both were ficlets and not drabbles, but still...

I'm glad you enjoyed this interlude. The longer story was a very rich canvas, in a timeframe I hadn't done much with before, and I really liked the mood that came of it. There's hope and romance, and a sense of things finally going right. Even though readers know that this is but a step along the trouble path the brothers follow, this part of the journey is so cozy and welcoming. :)

I love how this sounds like a 'breathing pause' in the mess their lives were and will be again. You managed to make this cozy and passionate at the same time ♥

So glad you still have a bit of inspiration to write them.

It's nice to climb back into Michael and Lincoln's world, especially when there are so many interesting parts of it (aside from S4, which I didn't watch, thank god).

I'd like to think they had at least some happy period in their lives, together, in between that childhood and where things wound up later.

Thanks for reading!

Oh how soft and gentle! And so much better than the awful canon they gave us in the last two seasons!

Thanks for writing them again!

You're welcome!

Season 3 was entertaining in a cracktastic way, but mostly just dumb. And I never did watch S4, and I'm so glad. I was afraid I'd never be able to write fanfic for the show again if I did, and they destroyed so much of their own canon.

This story goes back to all we'd hoped from Season One, that there was some foundation for the closeness between Michael and Lincoln, and that they must have had at least some period where things were good.

Even knowing how it all turns out by Season One, it's nice to dwell in the happiness between these two. :)

Oh, Lincoln's mouth alone is something I could obsess over for days...

It's hard to think of how harshly canon treated Michael and Lincoln, both pre-series and then the horrors of S4 (which I didn't watch, thank goodness). They deserved better, at least for some point at their lives, and without it how do you explain Michael's willingness to sacrifice all that he did?

Writing the answer to that question, during different time periods and settings, never gets old for me!

Thanks so much for reading and commenting!
