1.) Merry Christmas. Hope you had a great time.
2.) Sigh. Good old times. Loved the little flashback to Michael's banquet. [though for some reason it made me wish Lincoln had met Sara at that event. Like she is at some doctor or charity thing in another hall at the same location and he is tempted] Loved Lincoln trying to pimp her out to Michael or vice versa.
3.) I'm almost tempted to just stay up till yuletide comes up. But I should probably really go to sleep.

1. I did! Did you also? You celebrate mainly on the 24th, don't you? If I remember, that's more the German/Scandinavian tradition. I saw that there was lots of eating, though not much mention of Bacon Day.

2. Lincoln and Sara seem like such a natural matchup to me-- Lincoln is totally Sara's bad side, and so damned sexy that it'd be easy for her to get carried away. Het AND smut-- I generally don't write Het to begin with, but pure smut is even rarer!

3. I'm so clueless on how Yuletide works, so I didn't realize stories were coming up on the 25th (makes sense). I also didn't realize that you could do ficlets (below the 1000-word count) for your person! Not that it would have helped me much, since I went down to the wire on my single story and the other fandoms the person listed are all anime/toon stuff that I'm not familiar with.

I'm excited about the fact that you wrote something for this though. Long overdue, I say! I've seen the hints of your talent in some of your comment fic. ;)

1.) Yes, we celebrate in the evening on the 24th :) Bacon day is just a tradition specific to our family ( ... )

From what I understand you can write fics and ficlets for pretty much any person even without receiving the offcial ok. I kinda wish they would make the requests public earlier.
So that's how it works! I didn't realize that you could go shopping around for inspiration among other people's prompts, and this year was just awful in terms of getting anything done before Xmas, so earlier posting would have helped if you could go down to the 25th to create extra presents.

I haven't gotten a single Xmas card out yet, though several are now ready to go. I'd intended to do my overseas/online people first! Way in advance! And then while up in Oregon. And finally... I wrote them yesterday. :(

I've been behind from the beginning for Christmas this year, and it's been frustrating.

And as for this particular story, well, there was no point to it other than an excuse for smut. ;) Which I normally only do in the slash sense, and not enough of that lately! But my porn in general usually tends to be a little plotty, and this definitely wasn't. :D

*bounces* Santa got to my house just a tad early! *beams*

The melancholy feel to this makes me want to cry though. I sure would like to know what brought Sara to that bar.

He could have ripped her clothes off in a heartbeat, picked her up and positioned her on him and spun her like a top until the two of them screamed the hotel down around them.
Yes, please!

Happy holidays, Karen. Thanks for the effort. I'll appreciate it two-fold, for myself and Tanya till she gets a chance to stop by...

Hee! I was hoping you'd see this one, since I know you like this pairing possibly even more than Tanya!

Yes, please!
I love the 'caged-beast' feel of Lincoln, and the struggle to hold himself back that runs under the surface. And it's got a certain hotness in this context. :D

So glad you enjoyed this, and I hope Tanya likes it too when she gets back from all of her family obligations. :)

Not a show I watch, but I rarely turn down PWP :) Really enjoyed that!

Yay, you! It's not only PWP, but it's Het Smut. I almost never write Het, let alone smutty Het. I'm such a die-hard slasher.

The man in the icon above is Lincoln (I prefer him pre-series, with actual hair), and the woman in this icon is Sara. I've still got her, for a little while anyway.

Thanks so much for reading!

First off, Merry Christmas to you and the family, lady.

Loved this, halfshell. Short, to the point, and deliciously sexily AU. And Lincoln growled! Bonerus!

Thanks for writing the good old fashioned pwp in a fandom that truly needs it, for a show that seems to have forgotten about interpersonal relationships on an intimate level - regardless of sexual preference, platonic bonds, familial ties

/soapbox.

Thanks.

Merry Christmas to you and yours too, Rosie! A sadly melty one in your part of the world, I fear, but I'm sure you're used to it.

Lincoln growling seems not only very possible but really hot! Why waste an opportunity like that?

Thanks for writing the good old fashioned pwp in a fandom that truly needs it, for a show that seems to have forgotten about interpersonal relationships on an intimate level - regardless of sexual preference, platonic bonds, familial ties So very much why I quit after Season 3, and honestly everything after S1 was really straining me as to why I loved the show vs. what the show was being. I hit upon the truth in S3, which is that I fundamentally want the show to be something other than what it's trying to be. I'm there for the drama, and the show is really focused on being a thriller. After S1, it really became almost entirely thriller, and I was doomed to frustration by that ( ... )

Oh the nostalgia of the Linc/Sara pairing. It brought back memories. This was very yummy, I'm sure Tanya will love it.

"You'd probably like him," Lincoln added as an afterthought. "He's an engineer-smart, good-looking, professional. He's the kind of guy women want to marry."

She turned to look at him, her smile almost rueful. "Not my type," she said, and then she was gone.

LOL!

The thinking with that last part was that, in all honestly, Lincoln IS more Sara's type. He's the bad-boy type she keeps trying to resist, but it's her weakness.

Although meeting Michael in jail probably improved his chances with her. ;)

Glad you enjoyed this, and I hope Tanya will too! Thank you, Louise! :)
