oh, i'm so sorry to hear about casey! :-( the dog i had all growing up died while i was living in nyc. he was 13 or something. LOVED that dog and like you and Casey, he and i went through all of that childhood trauma stuff together and it was horrible to lose him, but what made it worse was that i couldnt even be there for him because i was in nyc. *hugs* so sorry about casey, again.
