I understand earth, void, and air (writing's totally an air activity), but how is bicycle stuff fire, and water charity? Inquiring minds etc.

An excellent question, cloud-who-scuds!

In my personal symbology, Fire is represented in the metaphorical by passion, will, and action; in the physical by the circulatory system; and in the calendrical by Summer. Thus, bicycling being an action about which I am passionate, which gets the ol' heart and blood pumping, and which is associated primarily with Summer, goes under Fire.

I associate Water with compassion. This is a fairly common neo-Pagan trope, possibly linked to tears. The act of giving is therefore a Watery one for me.
