I get that Steve is starting to care deeply for Adam and that he's worried about him, but does that now mean that Danny and Chin are no longer his friends? Does Steve have to be quite so rude to them, especially to Danny who was trying to be understanding? YIKES!

Yeah, it's not an easy thing for him, clearly. I don't think he's very comfortable with the idea of Danny finding out about him and Adam, so running away before Danny can say anything obviously feels like the safe thing to do, despite how silly that is. Hopefully it will get easier for him.
