Level 1: CLEARED!!!
Have I ever mentioned the fact that I have the best sister in the world?
I had an interview early this morning. It's not related to the extremely important one I had last Saturday but still, it was important and stressful. And now that I nailed it, I can officially say I will be in Japan this summer!! And I'm totally excited because this time, I'll go alone!! \(*^o^*)/
I don't know about other French universities but in mine, applied languages students have to do a mandatory internship for at least 8 weeks. It can be done during the summer holiday between the second and the third year or during the summer holiday after the third year. We can choose to go anywhere we want in the world as long as it's approved by university.
I really wanted to do mine this year in Japan so since September, I've spent sleepless nights looking for places where I could do this internship until that day sister found something interesting. It was about travelling around Japan and writing articles about the places you visit, which is like EXACTLY what I was looking for. And they were even looking for French people! However, it was written they wanted people who have graduated from college or people who are currently studying journalism or photography...
I decided to send my application anyway because I would have regretted it if I hadn't tried. So sister helped me to make a good resume since I suck at doing this kind of thing, I decided to make a video instead of a basic cover letter, I sent some photos taken during my previous trip to Japan and at the beginning of the week, I got an interview scheduled for today.
Well the last thing I expected to hear was "I'm really impressed by what you did! And you seem to be really motivated! We would be very happy to welcome you! Just tell us if it's ok with your university but of course you can come!" and I was like "...Is this a joke or something?" I mean I know what I sent them wasn't too bad but it wasn't that good, was it? I was feeling like I totally didn't deserve the compliments so it was a bit weird for me to be praised like that when I didn't really know why ^_^;)>
But I'm not complaining of course, I'm definitely happy!! It's all thanks to my sister and I'm very grateful to her. Even if now technically speaking, she can ask me whatever she wants, I don't have the right to say no...
Anyway, I still need to submit my application to university but it should be ok. Then I need to decide when to go exactly. My priority this time will be the internship but hey, I'm also a Johnny's fan. I'd like to have at least a week on my own to attend some shows if some are scheduled when I'm there. For example, Endless SHOCK will be performed in Osaka in September and SHOCK is like the stage play I want to see the most right now, so............... 8D
