As promised, here is episode 5 of SHARK! I still haven't watched the latest one and I have a very (VERY D:) important interview on Saturday so next update won't be until Sunday or next Monday! Unless I fail my interview because in that case, I will be depressed forever and won't write here ever again 8D
After Ayumu and Kenzou, this time the story is centered on Teppei who is played by Kamichan! This episode is definitely my favorite so far and I love it so much that I feel like writing some thoughts about it ♥ If you don't care about my ramblings, which I perfectly understand, or if you haven't watched the episode yet and don't want spoilers, feel free to ignore the following part and jump to the links!
Just a little warning: DO NOT watch it if 1) you're not alone and if 2) you're currently feeling emotionally unstable. Don't say I didn't warn you...
[All my feels ♥]One of the thing I like the most about SHARK is how endearing the characters are. And I'm not only talking about the boys because as I already wrote before, I've never been too interested in Hokuto as a Johnny's and yet, I really like Ayumu for example. And of course, I cannot not mention the girls! I'm sure Mizuki wouldn't be Mizuki without Kaede and my favorite character is probably Ichika. At first, I was afraid she would be somehow...stupid? But there is something very touching in her personality, in the way she is looking after the boys, especially in this episode...Oh, I can't stand Miku though. I don't understand how someone can be that stupid. If I were to work with someone like that, I would end up killing her xD
Kenzou, Ayumu and Mizuki are way too precious in this episode! My favorite part is when they are slowly coming closer to Ichika when she is talking to Miku on the phone. Their faces here are so adorable! Even Mizuki's, yes xD
There's only one thing I didn't like at all: Hayato-tachi. I was SO pissed at these guys. I can't forgive people who like to humiliate others so the whole scene at the club was almost too painful to watch...And speaking about that scene, I'd like to make a special mention to Kamichan. He is PERFECT in this episode.
I've watched quite a lot of dramas/movies starring Kanjuu and even if most of them aren't bad at all, it's somehow sad when you know that it's mainly comedies because well, Kanjuu are expected to be funny all the time. When you see how talented boys like Kamichan or Shô are in SHARK, I really hope Kanjuu will be given more "serious" roles from now.
To end on a funny note, I found something weird in this episode...It's written on Shinobu's resume that he was born in Heisei 16, August 20th. Problem is that Heisei 16 is 2004 and as we can read here, the story takes place in 2014. So...Shinobu is 10!? If someone finds an explication to this, please comment below xD
Oh wait! I almost forgot to write about the new song we hear towards the end of the episode! The title isn't written anywhere so I've no idea what it can be but anyway, all I want to say is that it's a beautiful song and gosh, I just love Shô's voice ♥
