I'm on my 4th time through the Hana Yori Dango story and it still amuses me (manga, anime, japanese live action, and now korean live action)

I had to go pick up my brother from the bus station in Toronto during the worst of the snow today. Yay snow...

I LOVE Hana Yori Dango!

They made it into one of the first Taiwan dramas in 2001 (Meteor Garden). It was basically the first Taiwan drama (low budget, bad acting, mostly true to the story and absolutely amazing!). After that T-Dramas took off.

I tried to watch Meteor Garden, but the acting was realllly bad. =P I couldn't get through it.

The Korean girl amuses me quite a bit now. Although first episode she was a bit scary/yelly

HAHA. The acting is SO BAD! It was the F4's first acting experience (yes they still go by the F4...haha...only now are the Japanese right holders asking them to change it!). They're such good actors now though! The guy who played Rui (I think that's the Japanese name...it's been a while since I've looked at Hana Yori Dango) is a huge star now and I love him! His name is Vic Zhou and he is such an amazing actor now.

Right now I only watch the Taiwan dramas (it helps with my accent and I don't need subtitles...I'm lazy haha). Most of them are based on Japanese manga though which is pretty awesome. But I did watch the J-Drama One Litre of Tears (based on a true story). have you seen it? It's so sad! I'm reading the translation online.
