More and more, I'm coming to enjoy more unusual, imperfect relationships. More interesting than the sickeningly sweet crap of harlequin novels and bad fanfics. It's tenative, but after ten years Part 1 may actually be completed.
Just in time to start Part 2 for NaNo.

Extreme Road Trip 2008
I survived! ^^
That's really the total feeling for the trip. It wasn't all bad of course, but it was full of errors at times and once or twice utterly terrifying. Just some random thoughts on the trip so I don't forget them all trying to make paragraphs outta the story. In chronological order.

Beijing Olympics
I only ended up watching the last part of it as people on cosplay.com were talking about the fancy costumes. But DAMN. If China's good at anything, it's pagentry. That was the coolest opening ceremonies I've ever seen. They had 8 torch bearers play relay, and then the last guy was lifted into the air up by the cavernous roof of the stadium. A ( Read more... )
