I met a dog and its owner just now.

The dog was a big crossbreed. A bit of boxer, a bit of something else. It was lead on a long metal chain and wore a muzzle.

The owner was a rummy. Sorry to be uncharitable, but that's what he was. Greasy long hair, practically no teeth. Big windbreaker.
