Here I am with another quick update for you, my most dearest of friends. All you VVC folks, I thought of you all weekend! And knew you were all having a great time and that made me happy. I actually bought a supporting membership, so I'm looking forward to receiving a shiny new DVD ( Read more... )

Sigh. She knows it can explode. Most likely she will go ahead with the surgery because I think she does realize she needs it, but that doesn't stop her from arguing that she doesn't need it.

Hi, you. I missed you so much this weekend. NGL, I go to cons a lot less frequently myself these days, and every time I do and you're not there, I find myself wandering around a little depressed and sometimes not sure why until I think, oh, right ( ... )

I love you! Your advice is golden.

I am thinking of attending Escapade this year, but we'll have to see closer to the date. VVC is just too much of an expense right now. :(

I asked D about your book, and she gave me the scoop. Can't wait!

:D Seriously, I can't wait, either! This is the longest pregnancy...

I wasn't so nuts about Pacific Rim or WWZ, but I did love Red 2 and Wolverine. I recommend Wolverine for a surprisingly happy-making f/f friendship between two pretty great female characters. (What, there was a guy with claws in it?) And Red 2 made me so happy.

Ahhg, see, I chose WWZ over Wolverine, and wondered if that was a mistake. Hm. Not sure Wolverine is playing in theatres any more, but I guess it can wait anyway. Not sure I've heard about Red 2... I'll have to look it up.

Please seriously consider not watching the 2-part finale. And if you do decide to watch it, TURN IT OFF before the last 5 minutes.Oh dear. Okay, I'll consider it. I'm so curious now, though, but maybe I'll skip watching and just read a synopsis or ( ... )

maybe I'll skip watching and just read a synopsis or something.

The other option, though I've never wanted to rewatch the 2-parter to try this but it might work-is to watch it after "Many Happy Returns" and then watch "Soul Possession" (the penultimate ep that came before the series finale) last. "Soul Possession" is one of the eps that involves other reincarnations of Xena and Gabrielle, and it takes place in modern day, so it might be a good chaser.

*smooch!*

HI! I am always glad to see a post from you. You're dealing with so much stuff that I hope you're taking time to be good to yourself. And you are not the only one with issues with GoT. Aside from my issues with the treatment of female characters (and there was a GREAT vid at VVC which broke that down a bit), my other complaints are here.

I had dinner with D and she obliquely mentioned you. I may have tiny-seal clapped at the mention of your name and also, NOVEL. \o/ eee!

I agree about a gazillion percent with your post! Which I just read. We see eye to eye with most of the characters, although I hadn't even gotten to the point of verbalizing it much. If I continue to watch, it'll be primarily for Dany and Arya. Most of the time I don't know why I should care? What's the point?

I did spoil myself somewhat for things to come because I just wanted to know if I should stick around or not but even that is too much effort. lol.

:D yay. I know, I should say something here eventually. HUGS YOU!

I'm sorry about the family issues - I'm so not ready for us all to be here at this life-stage, sigh!

Meanwhile, I totally loved the end of Fringe and have to post about it: after season 4 I was prepared to be disappointed but I totally think they pulled it off, actually!

Man, neither am I! No bueno and most unfun.

I too was uncertain what to expect, but I really liked it. They did a good job of tying it all together without without too much logicfail, which I appreciate. And I liked that the team was all together.
