I so love Cynthia Voigt. I have read all of her books over and over, and my son once did a school project on comparing the POV's in Dicey's Song, Solitary Blue, and Come a Stranger. I so love the Tillerman's, but I particularly love Solitary Blue , and I often recommend it to my patients because it is so about coming to terms with a mother who is just about totally worthless. I think that is my favorite book of hers. Of course, that might be because I have a mother who is totally a waste of space.

I left a comment for you after I read the story. I really enjoyed it.

Thank you again for a lovely story.

I know! I was so happy when I saw it. :D Thank you. I haven't gotten around to responding to my comments, yet, but I will.

I love Voigt's work, too, so much. I love the Tillerman Cycle immensely, and I also love the books that start with Jackaroo so much, even more than the Tillerman books.

This time, rereading, I found myself moved more by Tamer Shipp than anyone else. Especially that moment in Come a Stranger when he confesses how much Bullet meant to him. I cried. She's just amazing at understated emotion.

Anyway, thank you so much the comment!
