So, I rented this movie called Pastime the other day. It was on my netflix queue and it appeared at my home, and I was like, what are you, little movie? where do you come from? Turns out, William Russ is in it, and that's how it ended up on netflix queue and in my home. o.O ( Read more... )

I saw Pastime years and years ago, while in the midst of my Roger obsession. It totally made me sniffly and weepy, and it was interesting to see WR in such a different role.

Speaking of WR, he just did a turn on Standoff as a cult leader/polygamist, and was v. creepy and chilling.

Oh, I agree. The ending really got to me, with him crying in the car. *meep*

I was distracted through most of the film, though, which is the fault of opening my lap top while tv watching. Bad habit. *g*

But don't you think it's reassuring to know that even thousands of years into the future, teenagers will still be emo, and when given godlike powers, try to kill everyone who won't let them stay out late or hang out with the cool kids, or otherwise harsh their buzz?
