I think what Vorenus was getting at was how they both have lost something within themselves, and there's more than a bit of self-loathing in there, as well. For what they have done. For what they do now.

I was having an eyeliner day yesterday, making Rome DVDs for people and watching Alexander: The Final Cut. It's all good. Rome was definitely better, though, even if there was no boy kissage. *g*

Pout! My cable box went out and I didn't get 24, and of course it's the one show I watch that never re-airs. Sigh. That sounds like an episode that's going to make me very happy.

oooooh, I could probably get you a sneaky copy. :) I loved it, of course, but I'm not at all objective at the moment. i think it was decent, in terms of action, dialogue, plot, etc.
