A government agent, a mass murderer, and a roman soldiar

I tried to actually come up with a punch line for that set up, but I failed. It's a good thing I'm not a joke writer. I have family in town right now, so I'm only partially here. And starting tomorrow night I'm really not here -- my entire immediate family is renting a house and going on vacation. Pray for us.

Rome: This show. OMG, this show. How can there only be one more episode left. I'm so not ready to say good-bye to it. *sob* I don't even know where to begin with this week's episode. And my lack of attention span this week doesn't help. The one thing I do wish we had that we didn't get was more time with Antony and Cleopatra, instead of skipping over all those years. I know they didn't really have the luxury of doing so, but after nearly two full seasons of Antony/Atia, it feels slightly off balance, not that the actors don't do a bang up job, and also have tons of chemistry.

Two things I loved in particular this week - the scene between Antony and Vorenus and the scene between Pullo and Gaia. Pullo Pullo Pullo. OMG, that scene. How he went from love to cold fury, just eeeeee! And then the scene between Antony and Vorenus! I was absolutely memorized by Antony's face (who should wear eye-liner ALL THE TIME OMG) while he took in what Vorenus was telling him. Subtle shifts in his eyes, in his jaw. yowsa. And, although Vorenus and Antony are very different, they're both soldiers and both marked by their decisions and their actions. I'm not sure I know what Vorenus was getting at, but Antony seemed to know, and he didn't disagree. I wonder if the disease he talks about is engendering your own destruction.

BSG: The scene between Adama and Apollo was distressing. I wonder how long Lee's resignation will last. I know these two are constantly fighting, but, omg, I hate it when it then makes both or one of them unbending assholes, although Apollo looked very dapper in a suit. I wonder what they're setting up between Roslin's assistant and Anders -- Anders better not die, damn it. I felt bad for Tigh. I'm not sure either his testimony or Roslin's testimony helped Baltar at all. Not that he's gonna be found as guilty as everyone wants him to be -- weak, spineless, and manipulated, yes. But not entirely guilty. And then Zarek is proven to be right, which, duh. And then everything goes from tense to riot, and then the cylons come back into the picture or earth is found, or the final five are revealed or something like that happens. bah. *g*

The final five cylon reveal should be interesting. They're gonna have to pull off something quite jaw-dropping, in order for it to have the right pay off after all this build up.

24: EEEEEEE.

Stuff I liked:

-- So, I liked Audrey, a lot, and I'm thinking maybe she's not dead, but even so, I loved seeing Jack's reaction to the news of her "death". I neither like or dislike Marilyn (I'm kinda happy to see Jack get any kind of affection, at this point), but I loved that he didn't kiss her because he's holding out for Audrey. *meep*

-- MORRIS. Did you all know that Carlo Rota is 61 years old? Good GOD, he looks great. :D :D

-- MILO. OMG, I'm gonna be so sad if Milo is a mole, which is totally what they're pointing towards, 'cause it's very likely not Nadia, and they did set up that hole login business. Hard to say, seeing as 24 likes to double blind these things. I'm holding out that the mole is Mike Doyle, who I'm rapidly not liking at all. He creeps me out. Although that's a stretch, seeing as he just got there. *whimper* Maybe the writers will be revolutionary and make it some random extra.

-- I loved Chloe kissing Morris and Milo watching. That was sorta wrong, but also kinda hot and funny. hee.

-- Even though Jack needs to REST and heal, I can't imagine him doing so. So I'm glad he got back up and into the saddle. It's sort of scary, though, because he's really not well. And no one can tell him no, which, of course they can't. It's Jack. I kind of want to see him go to an absolute breaking point (and hopefully they could do that without any one else Jack loves dying, but not sure if they can...), and still save the day, somehow, 'cause you know he can.

-- I was happy to see Karen back. Who would have thought at the start of the season that the Karen/Tom bickering would be something to look forward to?

Thinks that make me ill:

--Okay, now V.P. Powers Boothe is just nutso.

--They better not kill President Wayne. O.O

Thinks I did not like:

-- Mike Doyle. creeeeeppppyyyy.
