[ Diva hadn't been interested in following the orders of that man, and now that she had her abilities she really didn't have to! No, for the first time in what felt like forever she was able to do as she pleased without having to be drawn back down by that still mostly human body she had been forced into on arrival here.

Needless to say though, she had been spending a large amount of her time since the return of her abilities feeding. Which just so happens to be what she's doing as the group approaches the dairy, how amusing her sister appear at one of the places she was supposed to protect. She'll drop the drone from her grip, turning on her feet with a grin. ]

Dear sister, it's been so long! And you brought your human pet with you, how cute~

[Bodies strewn about the ground, blue-tinged and too pale; blood splattered in puddles and running in rivulets across the pavement; and central to the carnage, its perpetrator, Saya's other half. These things are far too familiar to Saya.]

Diva. [Saya draws her sword and discards the sheathe; she'll collect it later, if she's able. For now she places herself between Diva and Kai, gripping her sword tightly with both hands. Her eyes shift from their usual dull red to the battle-ready crimson glow.]

Didn't I tell you when you arrived here? If you hurt anyone, I will kill you again. That was your only warning.

( kai finds he can't help swallowing awkwardly at the sight, of both the bodies strewn about the ground at their feet and of diva. it had been years since he had last laid eyes on her, and the last time had been watching her turn to crystal before shattering into nothingness. all this time since he arrived he had thought that perhaps she was just a ghost, nothing to fear or worry about.

but as diva turns, her bloodstained face sending a sharp chill down his spine. he finds he can only look to saya as he finds her between him and her twin, as the sounds of the sheathe thudding against the pavement echo in his ears. )

Saya. ( he grips his gun, glancing off for any signs that diva's chevalier might be around. ) Are you sure you can... ?

( he leaves the question hanging in the air, because he already knows. he knows she'll do what she can... what she has to do. )
