Happy November

A few observations from my first November in China:

- More Beijingers own dogs than I would have expected.  Each time I see one of them, I kind of want to squeal.  Who knew that in Beijing (of all places) I'd realize that I love dogs enough to want to emit a high pitched yelp?

A. You should say "ah-sah-lah-mu wah-lay-kume" to Reha (who sounds really interesting by the way) and see what she says back. It's a muslim expression that people seem to know all around the world.

B. Nanun, that's so cute. It seems like everyone's discovering how cool Koreans are this term.

C. I like that last picture a lot. The light is oustanding.

A. Ok, I'll try to memorize that... is the last part of it "kume" like "koom" or like the Japanese would say it (koo-may)?

B. I think you mean Nuna. But yes, this is definitely the most Korean filled term I've ever had in college... or life.
