Crystal Chamfron was a success. In addition to not having to call any EMTs or vets, 17(!) people authorized or re-authorized, including me. I was too nervous and everything was beginning to catch up with me physically, so I blew my advanced attempt, but they kindly let me try again. *hug back* Thank you! I'm glad it was wonderful for you to read-- it was startingly wonderful for me to experience, one of those "click" moments. I was so resigned to the idea that I was going to spend the first part of my SCA eq experience, particularly my authorization, on another person's horse that I had not let myself imagine how satisfying it would be to do it on Aziza. I'm so thankful that she and I got past whatever hurdle I had put up...we may not be great yet, but we're a damn sight better than we were, and lots further ahead.

And yes, chestnut mares do, indeed, rule. :)
