[There's a pause, while he flicks through the relevant data files "married" brings up. He scowls.]

King chuckles a bit at the first part, simply punching at another bee. He pauses when Ironhide starts speaking out loud. Honestly, those reasons are the reasons he's even involved with Bryn. The talk of marriage makes him think a bit about what it'd be like to... get married, specifically to her. It's a thought that surprises him a bit, because although he isn't sure he wants to, neither is he absolutely positive he doesn't want to.
Strange. King sounds a bit distracted as he answers Ironhide.]When humans are in love, or basically care about each other a lot, one proposes to the other. Usually it's the guy, and he gets a ring for the girl, or something like that, and asks her to marry him ( ... )

[It sounds familiar enough, though. Just a promise to stick together. To be... with someone for as long as you can. It doesn't... sound impossible. Even if it isn't their way.
He wouldn't have even considered this before. But now, given his recent outbursts, his feelings in the way of everything--All Spark, he can't even believe he's considering this.]

[FFFF IRONHIDE. King makes a small noise of frustration, and then runs his hands through his hair.]
I intend to stay with her right now. I mean... Marriage is a big thing in our culture. It's a huge commitment. And like... [Another frustrated noise.] I care a lot about Bryn, but... we're not at the stage where I'd propose. I think. [Obviously the fact that he's not saying no, outright, means he's not so sure about that fact himself.
He looks at Ironhide.]
Why are you asking about this stuff, anyway?

You are not seeing any other. You mate only with this one. You want to be with them. Hm?

[He's not sure who he's trying to convince all of the sudden. Himself, or his friend. He knows what he wants. But what happens when they leave the ship? Does he risk it?]

In theory, you've got a point, but humans... honestly, we're weird. We just have a feeling when we know we want to be with someone for the rest of our life. Love, and stuff like that...
[He trails off, biting his lower lip. He's not sure he doesn't love Bryn. He just... doesn't have answers for it.]

[King raises an eyebrow after a moment.]

[Not to say his own situation isn't complicated. Is it going to be different when they go home? Is it going to change everything?
But they're not home. They're here. They're--and he has to admit it--in love. His intakes hitch a little, and then work out a sigh.]

King lets out a long breath. Now he has things to think about. This is about the time that Bryn comms him wanting to see him, though, so once he says he'll be on his way he gives Ironhide a 'don't you say anything' look.]
Yeah, I need to go back to my room. [he pauses.. pretty sure he knows why Ironhide asked, now.] And good luck, buddy.
[And away he goes!]
